BISP Chairperson Visits Skardu: Announces Increase In Kafalat Payment
Benazir Income Support Program continues to provide support to the eligible beneficiaries with unconditional payments disbursement after every three months. Still, it is working to enroll more people in its fold so that eligible families can become part of the Kafalat Program without any hindrance.
BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid visited the BISP Zonal Office in Skardu where she listened to the Beneficiaries concerned and guided them about the new payment structure, moreover, she explained the authentic way of registration in which no fees are required. She also announced in her speech that BISP Kafalat Payment Will be increased for the upcoming installments.

During her visit to the Zonal office in Skardu, the BISP Chairperson listened to all the concerns delivered by the regional Beneficiaries and guided them accordingly so that they could simplify all the issues they were facing.

While talking to the media there she announced that the BISP Program is working on increasing the Monthly Kafalat Payments of beneficiaries. Both the number of households eligible for Kafaalat and the amount of stipends offered are being expanded.
She added, “A new banking model has been introduced to ensure that funds are distributed to deserving women in a dignified and transparent manner, per special instructions from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.“

She emphasized that in keeping with Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s vision, the Benazir Income Support Programme seeks to economically empower women. The importance of the Taleemi Wazaif, Benazir Kafaalat, and Nashonuma programs in enhancing the lives of low-income households was also emphasized.
