Sindh Government to Distribute 200,000 Solar Panels This August
Good News for the residents of Sindh, The Government has announced a new large project for the poor people who are tense due to the high electricity Bills, now more than 2,00,000 Solar Panels will be distributed to the local and eligible people of Sindh by the Government in this August.

Sindh to distribute 200,000 solar panels in August
In partnership with the World Bank, the government of Sindh will distribute 200,000 solar panels in August. As to the media sources, the proposal was introduced by Provincial Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, who said, “We are trying to introduce a policy for cheaper electricity supply in Sindh.”
Additionally, he said, “We are thinking of giving away 300 free units of electricity, although doing so will need the federal government’s assistance”.

Home-based solar systems will eventually be made available to other Punjabi consumers. The solar system will run

- and three bulbs

Sindh Government to Subsidize Interest on Solar Panel Loans
The Sindh government will cover the interest on the bank loans people take out to buy these solar panels. This means that individuals will only need to pay back the loan amount, while the government handles the extra cost of borrowing.
According to him, this is the main vision of PPP and they also focus on providing a program for Solar Parks and E-Bikes in Sindh.
Shah stressed the province government’s dedication to affordable energy initiatives and questioned the value of solar energy in the presence of taxes. “Since the cost of grid electricity increased, people are switching to solar power,” he said.
