Update Your 8171 Status: Tehsil Centers Open For Resurveying Ineligible Individuals

Benazir Income Support Program has started its new survey for the more enrollments in the BISP Program, who will receive their Payments From January 2024, but for those people who have already completed their Survey in the Benazir Kafalat Program but now their Online CNIC Check at 8171 has resulted in ineligible result, then there must be some Update that has to happen in their data.

Good News For Ineligible People: Resurvey To Update Your Data

In a most recent Online session with the BISP Director General, Naveed Akbar, he suggested a person whose wife has been receiving the Payments through Kafalat Program for the past few months but recently their 8171 status showed them ineligible for the Program, therefore DG said that they must visit the BISP Tehsil Center and resurvey their information in the Program so that any error in their data can be fixed and they can receive their payments again.

In this case, if a person resurvey their data and update his information for the Benazir Income Support Program, but still status shows them ineligible, then they have to wait till June 2026 because after two years they can again do their Survey and register their Families for the Kafalat 10500 Payments.

Old Beneficaries Not Receiving Payment – Clear reasons

There may be several reasons for the women not receiving the payments any longer, you can check out a few of them given below:

If the poverty or PMT Score of an eligible woman increases then she will no longer receive payments from the 8171 Program.
If she has led to fraud or entered the program by providing wrong information.
If a women or anyone file a return tax on behalf of that CNIC Card.
If a woman is found guilty for involving in Payment deductions will be immediately removed from the program.

How To Update Data At the BISP Tehsil Office?

The only way to update your contact details is to go through the Tehsil office and use the given procedure. You can skip filling out the survey again if you have merely changed your phone number and everything else remains the same.

Visit the BISP Tehsil office in your area, where you were previously enrolled.
Discuss your issue with the counter staff; they will ask you to hold off before continuing.
At another table, a representative will inquire about your issue.
It is now your responsibility to let them know about the changed details and ask that your phone number be adjusted.
He’ll ask you several questions and confirm your ID number.
Your new phone number will appear on their list once the verification procedure is complete.
Don’t forget to get a receipt from them.
