Punjab Motorcycle Scheme by Marium Nawaz – Provision of 20,000 Bikes
The Punjab government has announced the registration process for the simple installment program, which aims to provide 20,000 bikes to students in need of transportation. During the first phase of the program, 19,000 gas-powered bikes and 1,000 e-bikes will be distributed. Students, who are approved for the Punjab Motor Cycle scheme will submit a down payment of 25,000 rs and the monthly cost for male students is Rs 11,676, while the monthly installment for female students is Rs 7,325. Population density will determine distribution, with the first phase concentrated on cities such as Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, and Multan.
