Kisan Card Distribution Starts In Punjab For 5 Lakh Farmers, Usable From Oct 15

The Punjab Government has given another surprise to all the people in Punjab by announcing to start 6 largest schemes soon in the Province, in which the Kisan Card is also included for 5 lakh farmers across Punjab. 40 Thousand Kisan Cards Distribution Has Been Started 

On 10th September 2024, the CM of Punjab announced to start of the distribution of Kisan Cards to registered People, and in the starting, they will give 40,000 Cards to farmers. The farmers can make use of this card after 15 October and can get the Subsidized input items for their Crops. 

10 ستمبر 2024 کو وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے رجسٹرڈ لوگوں میں کسان کارڈز کی تقسیم شروع کرنے کا اعلان کیا اور اس کے آغاز میں وہ کسانوں کو چالیس ہزار کارڈ دیں گے۔ کسان 15 اکتوبر کے بعد اس کارڈ کا استعمال کر سکتے ہیں اور اپنی فصلوں کے لیے سبسڈی والی ان پٹ اشیاء حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ مریم نواز نے وزیراعلیٰ کے اقدامات کے بارے میں ایک میٹنگ کی جس میں انہوں نے پنجاب میں جلد چھ اہم منصوبے شروع کرنے کا اعلان کیا جن میں کسان کارڈ کی تقسیم، زرعی سامان کے پائلٹ پراجیکٹ کا آغاز، گرین ٹریکٹر سکیم، ایگریکلچر گریجویٹ انٹرن شپ اور ٹیوب ویل سولرائزیشن شامل ہیں۔

How to Register For The CM Kisan Card Through Office

One of the main issues about the Kisan Card is its registration process which is very important for diversity to understand so that they can get it easily on a single visit:

  • Go to the agriculture office and discuss your concerns,
  • They will ask you to provide some important documents,

Farmers Can Get Over 150,000 Rs Loan From Kisan Cards

Kisan Card has been introduced for the farmers so that they can easily grow their crops on a large scale and get a profitable output from it in this regard, the Punjab government has announced to provide loans from 30,000 per acre to 150,000 Rs for people who uses Kisan Card.

Main Components Of Kisan Card:

  • Farmer enrollment in the program will be done online.
  • All farmers who own up to 12.5 acres of land are qualified.
  • A farmer must have a mobile SIM card that is linked to his CNIC (PMD Verified).
  • Loans will be provided to landowners whose land records are accessible in PLRA.
  • By building an interface between the PLRA record and the farmer’s registration database (managed by PITB), farmers will be digitally validated.
  • A Chief Minister Kissan Card will be provided to the farmer by the Bank of Punjab following land registration and verification, as well as verification from PMD, eECIB, and NADRA.
  • 500,000 farmers will initially be eligible for the loan program on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A farmer may only borrow a maximum of Rs. 150,000 for 5 acres (at PKR 30,000 per acre) per season.

CM Approved Agriculture Mall Project In 4 Districts

Aside from the Kisan Card program, the meeting also approved the Agricultural Mall Pilot Project, which would allow farmers to acquire agricultural supplies, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides along with loans and counseling services in the following four main districts of Punjab:

  • Okara, 
  • Bahawalpur, 
  • Sahiwal, 
  • and Sargodha

Additionally approved was the Fresh Agriculture Graduates Intern Program, which aims to teach 1,000 agriculture graduates in Punjab. In addition, 10,000 tractors will be given to farmers under the CM Green Tractor Scheme throughout the year.
