For many years, numerous initiatives have been launched to lessen the impact of load shedding in the province. However, load shedding in Karachi and the interior regions of Sindh has always been a major issue that needs to be addressed with extreme intelligence. As a result, Murad Ali Shah, the new chief minister of Sindh, is now concentrating on installing solar panels to provide free electricity for homes.

In addition, the provincial administration of Sindh intended to boost solar energy by introducing affordable solar panels. A total of Rs 5 billion has been set aside for solar energy projects, of which 200,000 solar panels are to be distributed and 80 percent of which will be financed by the government.
