Top 10 Balochistan Students To Receive 16-Year Free Education

The Chief Minister of Balochistan has made several announcements for students of Balochistan including both girls and boys, so that the top students in Balochistan can get free education scholarship to continue their future education. Moreover, he declared that a department at Quetta’s Government Girls Postgraduate College will have the name of the professor who was shot and killed by terrorists in 2010.  

Top 10 Students In Balochistan To Receive 16-Year Educational Scholarship

During his speech at the convocation, he announced to launch Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Programme in Balochistan for the first time through this program the provincial government will pay for 16 years of education for the top 10 male and female students from each district who place highest in the Balochistan Board’s matriculation exams.

He Emphasized To Educate Women In Balochistan

According to Mr. Bugti, a society cannot advance if its women are not educated. He noted that the necessity of gender-neutral education has also been emphasized by Islam. He mentioned that in Balochistan, there are currently five female deputy commissioners and one assistant commissioner.

500 Laptops For The Teachers and Students 

During his speech in Balochistan he also announced relief for the teaching staff and the student learning in colleges and universities of Balochistan, he said that the government of Balochistan will provide 500 laptops to the teachers and students in Balochistan.

Naming A College Department After Professor Nazima Talib

on April 27, two men wearing masks shot and killed Prof. Nazima Talib, an assistant professor at Balochistan University, near Sariab Road in Quetta. The female professor’s murder had been attributed to the banned Baloch Liberation Army.

Speaking on Monday at the Government Girls Postgraduate College’s inaugural convocation, the CM honored the late professor. According to him, the nation is proud of the martyrs who gave their lives in Balochistan to advance peace and education, and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
