Here is the latest Update for all the eligible students and youth of Punjab who have applied for the Punjab E-Bike, as they received their electric Bikes on 11 July in a launch of its first Phase, where Maryam Nawaz in front of distributed all the Bikes to the applicants. While delivering the speech she also announced many more Schemes and Future Plans for enhancing Youth.

Maryam Nawaz Allocated Rs25 Billion For Scholarship 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a Rs25 billion student scholarship program and the early launch of a laptop initiative on Thursday, coinciding with the Punjab government’s launch of the electric bike (E-Bike) program, which is specifically targeted at female students. She also handed over the key to a motorcycle to a Jampur college student.

With this important initiative and more advanced facilities for youth, students can take more interest in bringing more economy to the country and this will eventually lead our nation on a path of development.

Phase II Of Punjab E-Bikes Will be Starting Soon For New Applicant 

During her speech at the Launch of E-Bikes, She announced that the government will start the distribution of more Bikes through Phase II so that applicants can apply for it through an Online web portal.

She claimed that to help students, solar-powered charging stations would be put in place in colleges and institutions. She also mentioned that kids who were still without parental affection would also receive bikes. Additionally, the chief minister granted Nawawa Mobilizers Company the first license to manufacture e-loader rickshaws.

27,200 Applicants will receive E-Bikes From the Government Of Punjab

When the registration for Punjab E-Bikes was started then over 100,000 people applied for the Scheme from which the government of Punjab will allot the E-Bikes to 27,200 People.

During her speech, Maryam Nawaz Assured the Youth that, the E-Bike Project was inaugurated today, and in the following phase, we will add more [beneficiaries]. The Punjab government will cover the first Rs20,000 of each e-bike’s Rs40,000 down payment.

Women Empowered Under Maryam Nawaz’s Leadership

The chief minister stated that there was no female quota in any Punjab government program and that all districts were equally represented but in this scheme, They are providing bikes to every one of the 8,000 female students who applied. For the girl empowerment. 

She assured this thing during her speech that more resources and facilities will be provided to the Women from which they have been deprived for ages. 

Promise to Start Registration For Laptops Scheme Soon

CM Maryam Nawaz announced that the government would soon provide laptops to students and introduce a Rs25 billion scholarship program to ensure that no child is left without education due to financial instability. The program abolishes the guarantee condition for children who have lost their parents. 

Additionally, the government will establish solarized e-bike charging stations across Punjab, and recipients will receive battery insurance coverage for theft or fire. She emphasized that the distribution of bikes was conducted through e-balloting, with no recommendations influencing the process.
