One of the latest Update for all the Special people in Punjab is that the Cheif Minister of Punjab has started the registration of Himmat Card holders through the Online Web Portal and recently an agreement has been signed with the Bank of Punjab for Himmat Cards so that all the eligible special people will receive their 10500 quarterly Payment in every third month. This is one of the most essential project launched by the CM of Punjab for the betterment of society and is an appropriate way to assist families who have disabled or special people

Eligible people who have registered for the CM Himmat Card will receive it on 15th September and after that, they will get their first payment of Rs. 10500 so that they can afford their necessities easily. In the presence of Cheif Minister Maryam Nawaz, an agreement has been signed between the provincial Minister of Social Welfare and Bet-ul-Mal Punjab Sohail Shaukat Butt, and the Bank of Punjab for the starting of Himmat Card Relief in a few days.

Assistive Device On Your Door Steps

Punjab Himmat Card is very essential for the old, disabled, and special people who are not able to take care of themselves and are unable to do a small job for this reason they face unemployment. In this regard, the Punjab government has thought about their situation and has decided to only provide financial assistance to them but they will also dispatch assistive devices are their door steps from September 15 so that they can spend the remaining of their lives with full authority and in a more comfortable way.

Bank of Punjab to Distribute ATM Cards to 65,000 Disabled Individuals

65,000 people with disabilities will receive ATM cards from the Bank of Punjab as part of this scheme. Each recipient of these cards will receive a PKR 10,500 quarterly stipend. Two phases will comprise the rollout: the first phase will see 40,000 PWDs receive their cards, while the second phase will see an additional 25,000 PWDs receive their cards. Funds will start to be disbursed via the Himmat Card by September 15th.

What Is Himmat Card? How Can A Person Benefit From It?

The Himmat Card is a full-service package created to offer PWDs financial assistance as well as other services. For PWDs who qualify, the government currently announces a quarterly payment of Rs 7,500. Eligibility Criteria

These are some of the important requirements to register for the Himmat Card Scheme:

  • Social Welfare Punjab must certify the person as a PWD.
  • It is necessary to classify the PWD as NOT FIT TO WORK.
  • It is inappropriate for PWDs to work in the public or private sectors.
  • The PWD cannot have recently gotten funding from BISP, PSPA, Zakat Fund, Bait ul Maal, or any other comparable organizations.
  • The BISP-issued PMT score shouldn’t be higher than 37.
  • Updates must be made to the PWD’s basic data in the DPMIS system, including their CNIC, address, phone number, education, and experience.
