1M Allocated for Each New House Under AGAC: CM Meets Amjad Saqib
According to the latest Update from the Punjab Government, the Chief Minister of Punjab has had a detailed meeting with the Founder and Chairman Akhuwat Doctor Amjad Saqib. During this meeting, they talk about very special and important issues that the Punjab government is looking forward to working on. Doctor Amjad Saqib praised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for initiating the “Apni Ghar Apni Chat” Scheme and for providing enormous relief in electricity expenses.

The Cheif Minister Maryam Nawaz held a meeting with the Founder and Chairman of Akhuwat Doctor Amjad Saqib who has also been the Ex Chairperson of the 8171 BISP, on his visit he discussed many important aspects of the projects that have been launched by Maryam Nawaz in this very short period and he also praised the Punjab Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme launched for providing own house to the poor people who can not afford to own a new house through any source of income.

Program To Be Launched On Three Plans

According to her, the project would be introduced in three phases as part of the Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar initiative. In rural areas, residents may apply for loans up to Rs. 1.5 million for plots up to 10 marlas, and in urban areas, up to 5 marlas. The “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” scheme will have interest-free monthly repayments of about Rs. 14,000.
Four-story apartments on government land will be built in major cities and distributed via easy installment lottery plans. Three to five marla homes will be available through private housing programs, with up to Rs 1 million in government subsidies for each property. In private housing complexes, those who apply will be able to become homeowners by making the final installment payments over five years.
