According to official sources who spoke with The Express Tribune, the province government has paid the corporation Rs13 billion since March, but the remaining Rs18 billion is still owed. Following the government’s failure to release the promised Rs 5 billion, the insurance company terminated the free treatment.

Additionally, it has been determined that a thorough discussion with the corporation in this regard will be held by the health minister and advisor to the chief minister on finance, Muzamal Aslam.
